Testimonials

Heatheridge is a well-kept and clean place. The Administrator and Staff are very cordial people who are always willing to do what is needed. My experience has been very pleasant. I would recommend to anyone in need of assistance that Heatheridge is a fine place.

Heatheridge is a good place to live when you can’t live alone. They make you feel like you’re at home. Everyone is helpful and pleasant and the good is really good. The place is kept clean and neat. And, the therapists are also very good. I feel content at Heatheridge.

My Mom has been a resident of Heatheridge since February, 2000. The entire staff has made her feel at home from the very beginning. I visit several times a week; day and evening, and I’m always made to feel welcome. I have peace of mind knowing my Mom is in a safe, caring environment.

After Mother had been living in her home for 42-years, we were apprehensive about moving her to a community and how she would adjust. We decided on Heatheridge Assisted Living 2 1/2-years ago and have not regretted that decision. The whole staff is very professional and kind in their interactions. Everyone, from administration, nursing, beauty salon, dietary, and housekeeping, treat Mother with dignity and courtesy. Mother has made a lot of new friends and has opportunities for activities and/or music every day. We have peace of mind about her safety and would recommend Heatheridge to others facing a difficult decision about moving a parent.

Our mother is 84-years old and has lived at Heatheridge Assisted Living Community for 15 months. A few months before she moved to Heatheridge, she began falling in her apartment and was showing some signs of forgetfulness. We knew then that she needed 24-hour supervision but not to the extent of a nursing home, and mother didn’t want to give up her privacy and independence. Heatheridge Assisted Living Community was recommended to us and we’re grateful that it was. Mother has a beautiful room that has a picture window over-looking the Courtyard so she can enjoy watching the birds and seeing the flowers bloom in the Spring. She still has her privacy and independence, but if she needs assistance, someone is right there. Mother has assistance with her baths, laundry, medication and has access to a beautiful dining room where she enjoys her meals with the other residents. Heatheridge also has a wide variety of activities for the residents every day of the week.
We are so grateful that we found Heatheridge for our mother. The staff at Heatheridge are friendly, courteous, and treat the residents and their families with respect. Heatheridge puts our minds and worries at ease because we know that our mother is well cared for and is in good hands, 24-hours a day.

Dear Ms. Hambric,
My uncle E. W. Grant has been a resident at Heatheridge since May, 2005. He has no relatives in Tulsa, as he is 93 years old and they have all passed away. I can only visit with him once a year as I live very far away. However, he has found a wonderful substitute for me in your Administrator at Heatheridge. Her name is Patsy Holland.
Patsy has taken the time to visit with him, listens to his concerns, and follows through on solving any problem that she can remedy. Tow examples of her help to him were when he needed a wheelchair; she called to tell me about it and got him one. Another concern of his was that he would run out of money and couldn’t stay at the home. Again, Ms. Holland called me with her idea of applying to the V.A. for benefits for him. She did this and it took her persistence from May of this year to be able to get the benefits for him. Now, with these benefits and his social security, he can stay at Heatheridge.
He wants to live there and he trusts Ms. Holland, and so do I. She has been more than kind and caring.
I am a retired R.N. and in the past I did work in a nursing home for 7-years. So I am aware of how administration functions and I want to say that she goes way above and beyond what her normal duties are.
I felt you should know of her wonderful efforts.
Sincerely,
Theresa Cohen, Heatheridge Family Member

To Whom it May Concern:
For the past six years my mother, Doris M. Hendricks has resided at Heatheridge Assisted Living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My sisters and I agree Heatheridge has been a blessing for our mother & for us. Every employee at Heatheridge has treated mother with respect and kindness. Every time we visit mother each and every employee will greet us and keep us updated on mother's health and happiness. I have referred several families to Heatheridge because I have the greatest respect for the management, nursing, cooking & cleaning staff. Mother's physician has indicated on several visits she can tell mother is being taken care of. She will always ask mother her feelings towards Heatheridge - Every time mother would say, "I LOVE IT & THEY FIX ME CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP ANYTIME I ASK FOR IT." Both the doctor and I will laugh. From mother's first day at Heatheridge she has always called it HOME.
Our family would like to "THANK YOU" for the excellent care and love you have giving mother.
Respectfully yours,
Virginia E. Knack (Ginger)
