Here are some Frequently Asked Questions for Leisure Village.

Does Leisure Village provide cable TV services?

The community does not provide cable services. However, set up is simple if you choose cable. Simply call Cox Cable at 286-0922 and they will take care of your requests.

What are your visiting hours?

We do not have any set visitation hours. Visit any time and as often as you like. In fact, we encourage it!

Can you bring pets to visit residents?

Yes, we encourage you to make this your home. Please speak with the Administrator about the requirements and pet policies.

Do you provide transportation to doctor appointments?

Yes. We provide transportation for scheduled visits to the doctor's office.

What if I have a special need that falls outside of what you normally take care of for me? Is there anyone to help?

Yes. We have a personal Concierge who can help with doctor visits and some business matters when family and friends are not available. Appointments are recommended. This service is FREE to Residents at The Broadmoor, Heatheridge and Leisure Village.

Do you offer meals for special diets?

Please inquire regarding your special dietary needs. We offer a full array of specialized diets, which are under the physician's care and approved by a Registered Dietician.

What about my phone service? Do I have to call the phone company for set-up?

No. We have taken the important step to implement a state of the art communication system at your community. There is no need to set up your own service. Just plug in your phone and you are ready to go. There is no set up charge, and no monthly taxes and other charges on your phone bill. Long distance services are also available for an extra charge. In addition, our communication system allows you communications with staff members throughout the building. With one simple touch, you are connected to the receptionist, Activities Director or any other department.

My mother has Life Line at home. Will it work here?

Yes. Life Line will work at our community, but we believe this expense is duplicated. For a nominal monthly fee, we offer emergency pendants that connect directly with staff who provide the assistance needed. If a Resident falls in his or her apartment, they only need to push the pendant and an emergency call goes to our central phone system for a prompt response. We place as much value on peace-of-mind as you do.
