At Leisure Village Health Care Community, we prioritize health, happiness and dignity for the treatment of people diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. We recognize the need for specialized care and offer secured* memory care units in both our Leisure Village Health Care Community in Tulsa and Rainbow Health Care Community in Bristow.

Living Life to its Fullest

Our skilled nursing and therapy staff work hard to create a structured living environment to meet each person's needs for routine programs and activities, which is a comfort for those affected by mental losses. Residents are given opportunities to participate in group and individual activities that stimulate the mind as well as the spirit. Individuals are encouraged to do as much as they can for themselves so they can feel in charge.

Our Remembrance Wings also offer Residents the comforts of home. Some furnishings and personal items can be brought to the community to ensure your family member feels comfortable. Residents are given the opportunity to socialize in the dining room, living room and in our peaceful courtyard.

Taking the First Step

When you are ready to seek a secured living environment for your loved one, our nursing staff will complete a full assessment and meet with your physician to create a customized medical care program, including medicine and dietary regimen. We'll also develop special programs to address your loved one's likes and dislikes. Once your family member is comfortably settled, our staff will hold scheduled family meetings. However, you are free to visit at any time.

Living with dementia can be stressful and confusing - for both Residents and family members. Our goal is for each person to feel comfortable with the care we provide.
